ISSUES
Traffic and Infrastructure
Our most dangerous and congested roads are state routes. Addressing these state routes means working with TDOT to secure infrastructure investments that will reduce congestion, make our streets safer for pedestrians, and improve our quality of life. Less time in traffic means more time for what matters.
Wages and Workplaces
Every worker deserves a safe workplace and a fair, livable wage. The people who keep Music City running should be able to afford to live here. We need more quality career opportunities for everyone regardless of education level. Together we can recruit quality businesses to the District and increase investment in apprenticeship programs that make great careers accessible to more people.
Education and Child Care
As a long-time MNPS educator I know what our kids need to succeed. In the last year we’ve worked to make our teachers the best paid in the state and we passed the biggest ever expansion of childcare in Nashville history. I am already delivering for students, parents, and teachers in District 52. Every student deserves a well-resourced classroom, a full stomach, and a safe school environment. That’s what I will continue to fight for in the State House.
